This corrects a problem introduced in 11ed91af8f (Add missing default
constructor of wxFileDialog in wxMSW, 2023-12-03) as m_data remained
uninitialized when default ctor was used.
See #24113.
Having this line is not useful at all as it doesn't contain any
information and shouldn't be filled in the future as git-shortlog can
provide the information about people who changed the given file more
more reliably than consulting the comments in any case.
Keep the non-blank lines for historical purposes.
This allows to add application-specific directories to the file dialog.
This commit only contains the implementation for wxMSW and a change
showing the new function in the sample.
When using common dialogs, because IFileDialog-based implementation is
not available either at compile- or run-time, this function needs to be
called while the extra controls still exist, i.e. before ShowModal()
returns, so do it from CDN_FILEOK handler.
Move the code that called it previously into the new MSWOnFileOK() for
consistency with the other callbacks.
Closes#22521.
This allows to use the new style dialog for the file dialogs for which
Centre() or SetSize() had been called, as we can now position the window
even when not using a hook function.
As there is no IFileDialogEvents function corresponding to CDN_INITDONE
notification, use the first call to OnTypeChange() instead.
Also simplify the hook function code a little by using OPENFILENAME
local variable directly instead of using OFNOTIFY only to always use its
OPENFILENAME member and nothing else.
No real changes.
These functions were always marked as being implementation-only, but we
can actually do better and make them private, by making the dialog hook
function a (static) member of wxFileDialogMSWData and making this class
(which is now a class and not a struct any more, as it's not just a
collection of fields any longer) a friend of wxFileDialog.
No real changes.
No real changes, just make it possibly to add more fields to the private
struct in the future without affecting the ABI.

If possible, i.e. if none of the features not supported by IFileDialog
are needed, prefer to use IFileDialog for wxFileDialog rather than the
old common dialog functions.
There are no real differences in appearance because the old functions
actually already forward to the new IFileDialog-based implementation
internally anyhow, if possible, but this provides us with more
flexibility and some things that were ignored by the common dialog
functions now work, such as setting the initial dialog directory.
Add wxFileDialog::GetCurrentlySelectedFilterIndex() similar to the
existing GetCurrentlySelectedFilename(), which can be used to retrieve
the index of the currently selected filter and update the state of the
extra controls in wxFileDialog accordingly.
Implement this for wxMSW only by updating the internally stored value
from the native CDN_TYPECHANGE notification and also generating a
wxEVT_UPDATE_UI event to allow the extra controls to update themselves.

Windows CE doesn't seem to be supported by Microsoft any longer. Last CE
release was in early 2013 and the PocketPC and Smartphone targets supported by
wxWidgets are long gone.
The build files where already removed in an earlier cleanup this commit
removes all files, every #ifdef and all documentation regarding the Windows CE
support.

This keyword is not expanded by Git which means it's not replaced with the
correct revision value in the releases made using git-based scripts and it's
confusing to have lines with unexpanded "$Id$" in the released files. As
expanding them with Git is not that simple (it could be done with git archive
and export-subst attribute) and there are not many benefits in having them in
the first place, just remove all these lines.
If nothing else, this will make an eventual transition to Git simpler.

Also send wxEVT_UPDATE_UI events for the extra controls in wxFileDialog.
The combination of these changes allows extra controls to update their state
depending on the current selection in the dialog. Show a simple example of
doing it in the dialogs sample.

wxFileDialog::GetPath() didn't return the value set by a previous call to
SetPath() in wxMSW version. Fix this and also implement SetPath() and
SetDirectory() methods in the generic versions in the same way as
SetFilename().
